At Waymaker Auto Services LLC, we are committed to delivering real value to every client. We want our refund policy to be completely transparent and easy to understand — no fine print, no surprises.
Refund eligibility is determined by the stage of service at the time the request is received, as described below. The 30-day window from purchase applies only to Stage 0, Stage 1, and Stage 2 refund requests. Once a client has provided written approval to proceed with negotiation/inspection (Stage 3), refund eligibility ends immediately and permanently, regardless of the 30-day window. All refund requests must be submitted by emailing waymakerautoservices@gmail.com.
Payment Processing Fee
Please note: All payments are processed through Square. Square's payment processing fee (currently 3.3% + $0.30 per transaction) is non-recoverable — meaning Square retains this fee even when a refund is issued. As a result, all refunds will be issued minus Square's non-recoverable processing fee based on the rate at the time of the original transaction. The exact fee amount will be disclosed to the client at the time their refund is approved. We want to be fully transparent about this so there are no surprises.
Our Sourcing & Research Process
Important: Waymaker Auto Services LLC conducts vehicle sourcing and research for every client — including those who come to us with a specific vehicle already in mind. Even if a client believes they have already found their ideal vehicle, we conduct independent research to ensure they are not missing a better deal on the same or comparable vehicle elsewhere. This sourcing and research process is a core part of our service and is performed for every client without exception.
Refund Schedule
Your refund amount is determined by the stage of service at the time your refund request is received. All refunds are subject to Square's non-recoverable payment processing fee as described above. The 24-hour clock referenced in Stage 1 begins at the time the client intake form is submitted, regardless of client responsiveness or communication activity after that point.

| Stage 3 — Negotiation/Inspection Authorized | The client has given written approval (via text or email) authorizing Waymaker Auto Services LLC to proceed with negotiation/inspection on a specific vehicle that we have sourced and presented. This stage applies regardless of when the approval was given and regardless of whether the 30-day window has passed. Written Approval Defined
To protect both the client and Waymaker Auto Services LLC, written approval follows a specific process. When we are ready to proceed to the negotiation/inspection stage, we will send the client a written confirmation message via text or email that clearly identifies the specific vehicle by year, make, model, and listed price, and explicitly asks the client to confirm their authorization to proceed.
The client's affirmative reply to that specific message — including but not limited to responses such as "yes," "confirmed," "go ahead," "I approve," or any other clear affirmative response — constitutes written approval. Written approval is specific to the vehicle identified in that message.
Verbal approvals given over the phone do not constitute written approval. In all cases where a client provides verbal approval by phone, Waymaker Auto Services LLC will follow up with a written confirmation request via text or email, and work will not proceed to negotiation/inspection until written confirmation is received.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please email us at waymakerautoservices@gmail.com with the subject line "Refund Request" and include:
- Your full name
- The email address used at purchase
- Your purchase date
- The date and time you submitted your intake form (if applicable)
- The reason for your refund request
We will review your request and respond within 2 business days to confirm eligibility and the applicable refund amount.
Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
By purchasing our services, the client agrees to follow this refund policy and to contact Waymaker Auto Services LLC directly at waymakerautoservices@gmail.com to resolve any concerns before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with their bank or credit card provider. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first following this refund request process is a violation of these terms. Waymaker Auto Services LLC reserves the right to dispute any chargeback filed in violation of this policy and to provide all relevant records and documentation to Square and the client's financial institution in defense of such a dispute.
Refund Processing Time
Once a refund is approved, please allow 5–7 business days for the refund to be processed and returned to your original payment method.
Deals Falling Through
In the car buying process, deals can and do fall through — a vehicle may be sold to another buyer, a seller may withdraw, or other unforeseen circumstances may prevent a transaction from completing. A deal falling through does not constitute grounds for a refund if written approval to proceed with negotiation/inspection has already been given. In such cases, Waymaker Auto Services LLC will continue working with the client to find a suitable alternative vehicle at no additional charge for up to 90 days from the original purchase date.
